Depuis 2011, Pierre-Alain Giraud met en mouvement l’univers de l’artiste islandaise Gabríela Friðriksdóttir.Since 2011, Pierre-Alain Giraud has been setting in motion the world of Icelandic artist Gabríela Friðriksdóttir.
Trois films d’animation — Crepusculum (2011), The Inner Life of a Hay Bale (2016) et Victimhood (2023, pour Björk) — créés pour une grande exposition à Francfort, une galerie de Reykjavik et une tournée mondiale. S’y ajoutent Dies Irae, co-réalisé au cœur du programme Sacrifice de l’Iceland Dance Company aux côtés d’œuvres de Matthew Barney et Ragnar Kjartansson, et le film Cabin Fever.Three animation films — Crepusculum (2011), The Inner Life of a Hay Bale (2016) and Victimhood (2023, for Björk) — created for a major exhibition in Frankfurt, a Reykjavik gallery and a world tour. To these are added Dies Irae, co-directed at the heart of the Iceland Dance Company’s Sacrifice programme alongside works by Matthew Barney and Ragnar Kjartansson, and the film Cabin Fever.

She represented Iceland at the Venice Biennale in 2005 and is a long-standing collaborator of Björk.
