Conçue par Anna Thorvaldsdóttir et Erna Ómarsdóttir, créée par le Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra et l’Iceland Dance Company sous la direction d’Anna-Maria Helsing. Les films de Pierre-Alain Giraud et Valdimar Jóhannsson — roches, eaux, figures entre humain et abstraction — enveloppent la salle. La partition, co-commande de l’Iceland Symphony Orchestra, a depuis été enregistrée (Sono Luminus, 2023) parmi les meilleurs albums classiques de l’année selon le New York Times.Conceived by Anna Thorvaldsdóttir and Erna Ómarsdóttir, premiered by the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and the Iceland Dance Company under the direction of Anna-Maria Helsing. The films by Pierre-Alain Giraud and Valdimar Jóhannsson — rocks, waters, figures between the human and abstraction — envelop the hall. The score, co-commissioned by the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, has since been recorded (Sono Luminus, 2023), named among the year’s best classical albums by the New York Times.
